A journey called LIFE...

I'm back...
It's been a year since I last visited my blog...good thing, my account is still available. I miss writing, I miss posting pictures and memories, I miss telling stories. Now, here I am, reminiscing what happened in my life last year. There were bad and good memories of the past, but then, there's nothing I can do to turn back the clock. I just have to remember and keep all the good memories and forget the bad ones, and of course, all the blessings that I received. I'm also thankful for the greatest gift of life, my son, for giving me the courage to go on and accept things the way it has to be. As I've always said, LIVE, LOVE, and LEARN...

we are the world...

thank you for the good music, MJ.

There are times when we heed a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
And it's time to lend a hand to life
The greatest love of all

We can't go on pretending day by day
That someone, somewhere will make a change
We are all a part of God's great big family
And the truth, you know,
Love is all we need

(Chorus)
We are the world, we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let's start giving
There's a choice we're making
We're saving out our own lives
It's true we'll make a better day
just you and me

Send them your heart so they'll know that someone cares
And their lives will be stonger and free
As God has shown us by turning stones to bread
So we all must lend a helping hand

(Repeat chorus)

When you're down and out, there seems no hope at all
But if you just believe there's no way we can fall
Let us realize that a change can only come
When we stand together as one

(Repeat chorus)

the way we play...

Last night was the championship of the volleyball competition in Tel Aviv. Unfortunately, we're only aiming for the 2nd runner up position due to our loss 2 weeks ago. We gave our best shot eventhough we're only 8 in the team. Huh! Can you imagine the strenght and mind power we had to gain. The good news is we got the 2nd runner up position, the most attentive team, the best digger for ate Liza, the leadership award for ate Liza again and the best player of the game by yours truly. Hehehe! Gulat kayo ano? Well, as I always say...It doesn't matter if we win or lose, the most important thing is we did our best and we enjoyed the game. Mazal tov, Raanana Angels to our next competition...

P.S.

We would like to thank all our sponsors, to coach Rey and Joel, to Kuya Ramiel who also taught us how to set the game, to our friends who watched our every game...kilala nyo na po kung sino kayo. And most especially, we must thank ourselves for giving our best shot in every game and for the friendship that we shared during the practice.

VIVA PAPA!

It was a blessed day for me yesterday. I attended the Pope's mass in the Mt. of olives in Jerusalem. At first, the guards won't allow us to enter the site because we didn't have a permit/invitation. 5000 people were expected to attend the mass and only the 3 of us - Me, Ethel and KC didn't have the permit. Sabi nga nila, pag may tyaga, may nilaga. We've been waiting there from 10am and the mass will only start at 4:30pm. Pero dahil gusto naming makita si Pope, naghintay kami kahit wala kaming permit. At 3:45pm, they were closing the roads including the entrance. The 3 of us were left outside with all the police and guards. One police noticed us and asked if we want to go inside. Yes!!! Finally, we can come in. The one lady guard remembered us that we were the ones who are waiting there for a long time, and she said...go inside...go inside...

This is it...before the mass, the Pope, inside his Papal's car passed by near us. I've got goosebumps, i was shouting his name like everybody else. So near, yet we cannot even touch him. At least we had the chance to see him , attend his mass and received his blessings. It was a tiring but fulfilling and blessed day.

trapo...

I was listening to my mp3 this morning, a song with a title TRAPO from YANO caught my attention. It's all about the wrong doings of the politicians in the Philippines.
