thank you for the good music, MJ.
There are times when we heed a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
And it's time to lend a hand to life
The greatest love of all
We can't go on pretending day by day
That someone, somewhere will make a change
We are all a part of God's great big family
And the truth, you know,
Love is all we need
(Chorus)
We are the world, we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let's start giving
There's a choice we're making
We're saving out our own lives
It's true we'll make a better day
just you and me
Send them your heart so they'll know that someone cares
And their lives will be stonger and free
As God has shown us by turning stones to bread
So we all must lend a helping hand
(Repeat chorus)
When you're down and out, there seems no hope at all
But if you just believe there's no way we can fall
Let us realize that a change can only come
When we stand together as one
(Repeat chorus)

Last night was the championship of the volleyball competition in Tel Aviv. Unfortunately, we're only aiming for the 2nd runner up position due to our loss 2 weeks ago. We gave our best shot eventhough we're only 8 in the team. Huh! Can you imagine the strenght and mind power we had to gain. The good news is we got the 2nd runner up position, the most attentive team, the best digger for ate Liza, the leadership award for ate Liza again and the best player of the game by yours truly. Hehehe! Gulat kayo ano? Well, as I always say...It doesn't matter if we win or lose, the most important thing is we did our best and we enjoyed the game. Mazal tov, Raanana Angels to our next competition...
P.S.
We would like to thank all our sponsors, to coach Rey and Joel, to Kuya Ramiel who also taught us how to set the game, to our friends who watched our every game...kilala nyo na po kung sino kayo. And most especially, we must thank ourselves for giving our best shot in every game and for the friendship that we shared during the practice.

It was a blessed day for me yesterday. I attended the Pope's mass in the Mt. of olives in Jerusalem. At first, the guards won't allow us to enter the site because we didn't have a permit/invitation. 5000 people were expected to attend the mass and only the 3 of us - Me, Ethel and KC didn't have the permit. Sabi nga nila, pag may tyaga, may nilaga. We've been waiting there from 10am and the mass will only start at 4:30pm. Pero dahil gusto naming makita si Pope, naghintay kami kahit wala kaming permit. At 3:45pm, they were closing the roads including the entrance. The 3 of us were left outside with all the police and guards. One police noticed us and asked if we want to go inside. Yes!!! Finally, we can come in. The one lady guard remembered us that we were the ones who are waiting there for a long time, and she said...go inside...go inside...
This is it...before the mass, the Pope, inside his Papal's car passed by near us. I've got goosebumps, i was shouting his name like everybody else. So near, yet we cannot even touch him. At least we had the chance to see him , attend his mass and received his blessings. It was a tiring but fulfilling and blessed day.
I was listening to my mp3 this morning, a song with a title TRAPO from YANO caught my attention. It's all about the wrong doings of the politicians in the Philippines.
Do you know a virtual friend? A virtual companion? Who knows, we might need it in a few years time. Yesterday, my employer's son told me what he did in the rehabilitation center. He did the virtual sport from Wii, a product of Nintendo. He played tennis and boxing thru virtual sport. Wii got every sport you want. Can you imagine playing tennis with the computer as your opponent? It's like playing in real court, you serve, you smash, backhand and forehand. Amazing, isn't it? When you got a Wii, you don't have to go out and play in the court. It's sad for me because i'm an outdoor person. Not only the virtual sport, i also saw a virtual pet. All you have to do is type the reference code in their website ang presto, you got your virtual pet. You have to feed them, bathe them, dress them. It's like taking care of a real pet, the big difference is you have to do that in the computer. Amazing, isn't it? There's also the digital photo album. All you have to do is transfer your photos from the computer to your digital photo album. Easy to look, easy to carry, and your'e a technie. Hehehe! You also heard about the netbooks, mp4, touchphone, etc. Sometimes, it makes me feel sad because we're living in a fast paced world where technology rules. Think about it, maybe next week you gonna need a virtual friend because there's nobody to turn to. Someday you gonna need a remote control wife or husband because of this technologies. I'm amazed, but not happy. Are you?
